Book Club Reviews
In the summer of 2009 I was active with a playgroup for pre-schoolers from our church. One mom suggested a book club. I have always loved books and used to read a lot but hadn't since my youngest, who was four at the time, was born. I really didn't see how I could read one book a month - but I gave it a try. And much to my surprise I manage to fit in one and sometimes more! A couple of times I'd had to put sticky tabs throughout the book to indicate how far I had to read each day so I could get it read in time. Once or twice I've attended without having finished the book. The best thing has been the motivation and getting back into a habit I am proud to have. And even though it takes me out of the house one night a month - I think it sets a good example for my child.
